Gary McArthur has been involved in helping businesses to start and grow for over twenty five years. Since the dawn of the Enterprise Allowance Scheme during the Thatcher years, right through to the dawn of the Enterprise Allowance Scheme under the Coalition Government. In that time he has seen many changes to the way businesses are supported through the start up process - some of them positive and some negative - but one over-arching truth remains: Businesses and entrepreneurs are best supported through a series of face to face discussions, consultations, chats or meetings with an experienced, accredited and qualified business adviser. This is fundamental to nurturing aspiring entrepreneurs and can never be replicated over a telephone line or via the internet. Talking your ideas over with another human being, having a name with a face that you can call upon in times of need, or just for a chat, is vital to all new businesses.
