Gardening Club

Gary's passion for trees and plants started at a very young age. By the age of 11 he was helping at a local nursery every weekend and reading about plants and experimenting with growing in his spare time.

He has a HND in Amenity Horticulture, a BSc (honours) Degree in Landscape Management and over 30 years of practical experience in the Horticultural trade. He has been employed in Garden Centre Management, ran a Landscape Gardening Company in the UK and for 10 years before moving to France he worked as a Lecturer at Hadlow College (a subsidiary of Greenwich University) where he initially taught Retail Horticulture and Business studies to staff of several different major Garden Centre chains, he then went on to run the Landscape Management Degree.

Gary moved to France with his wife and children in 2004 and now runs a horticultural consultancy providing a garden design, horticultural advice and landscaping service. He also runs a gardening club for the local English speaking community which meets monthly.
